Hi, nice to see you here!

My name is Emma and I run Notera Pappershandel. I grew up in beautiful Västerbotten in Sweden, where both me and the webshop are based. Throughout my life I have been extremely fond of paper, fine notebooks and pens.

My goal is for more people to discover the beauty of analog writing and creating with their hands. I believe in the positive effect of sitting down with a cup of tea or coffee and journal for a while. Perhaps by writing down a few reminders by hand or by creating a new spread in your bullet journal to plan your everyday life. And of course there is something special about writing by hand in a brand new notebook! Being able to set up the notebook the way you want it for a specific project, daily reflections or as your weekly planner.

I think writing by hand can be a sweet pause in an otherwise stressful everyday life. Not least a rest for our eyes from digital screens that surround many of us for much of the day. I know at least I am guilty of spending far too many hours in front of a screen…
